How it works
Playground Painters lets you design your playground layout on a live satellite view of your site and get an indicative quote — all in three steps.
Find your site
Search for your school, park, or facility address. Once located, place a rectangle over your play area directly on the satellite map.
- •Type your address in the search bar — select from the autocomplete suggestions.
- •A draggable rectangle appears centred on your address. Drag the rectangle to reposition it over the play area.
- •Drag the corner handles to resize the rectangle to match the dimensions of your play area.
- •Use the top handle to rotate the rectangle so it aligns with the orientation of your site.
- •Click Continue to Design when the rectangle covers your play area.
- •Service area covers Southern Ontario. Out-of-area addresses will show an advisory message.
Design your layout
Place games onto the satellite view of your play area. Your estimate updates in real time as you build your layout.
- •Browse games in the left panel. Use the category filter (Movement, Numeracy, Literacy, etc.) to explore options.
- •Click a game card to expand it and see the colour variants available for that game.
- •Click a variant swatch to drop the game onto the canvas, or drag a variant directly onto the canvas to place it exactly where you want it.
- •Available variants vary per game: most offer Full Colour, Yellow + White, Yellow, and White; some games only have a subset.
- •Once placed, drag games around the canvas to reposition them.
- •To delete a game: click it on the canvas to select it, then press Delete or Backspace, or click the red Delete button in the right panel.
- •The estimate on the right panel is indicative — your formal quote will be confirmed within 24 hours.
Request your quote
Review your design summary and fill in your contact details. The Playground Painters team will follow up with a formal quote within 24 hours.
- •Review the left panel — it shows all your games, dimensions, travel fee, and estimate range.
- •Fill in your name, organisation, email, and phone number. All fields are required.
- •Choose whether you prefer to be contacted by email or phone.
- •Use the Notes field to add any special requirements or questions.
- •Click Submit Quote Request. You'll receive a confirmation with your reference number.
Frequently asked questions
Is this quote binding?
No. The estimate shown in the app is indicative only. A formal quote will be sent by The Playground Painters team within 24 hours of your submission.
What areas do you service?
The Playground Painters cover Southern Ontario including Guelph, Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge, Hamilton, and surrounding areas. Locations outside this region require direct approval.
What colour variants are available?
Each game offers a set of pre-defined colour variants — typically Full Colour, Yellow + White, Yellow, and White. The available options vary per game, and only the ones available will appear when you click a game card. Full Colour is generally priced higher than the reduced palettes.
Can I save my design and come back later?
Your design is stored in your browser session. Closing the tab or clearing your browser data will reset the design. We recommend completing the quote request in one session.
What happens after I submit?
The Playground Painters team receives your design and contact details. They will review it and send a formal quote to your email address within 24 hours.
